These December holidays, join us for
Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR.
Following on from the success of our first ever holiday musical production of Elf, the Musical JR. in December 2022, we are so excited to announce that we’ll be back again this year with an all-new show!
Our holiday musical productions are a two-week intensive bootcamp of singing, dancing, acting and heaps of fun as we learn an entire musical in just ten days! To top it all off, we finish the two weeks with a public performance of our show.
WHO CAN BE INVOLVED
Participants should be aged 10-18 at the time of performance and ready to give it a go. That’s it! Whether they’re a musical theatre superstar, a dancer looking to try something new, or have never done any performing before, anyone who’s keen to take part is welcome to do so. We also love meeting new performers so siblings and friends from outside Bayside Dance are welcome to join us!

THE SHOW
Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical comes to life on stage!
It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple causes an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Registrations will open in Term 3, but interested performers can submit an expression of interest below and be the first to find out when registrations open. Performers interested in lead roles will have the option to audition, but all who register will be cast in the show!
