With over 20 years of experience, Heather Barraclough is a highly accomplished dance educator, teaching a wide range of styles. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Dance and is a qualified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Heather is also an accredited coach with DanceSport Australia and serves as an examiner for the Southern Federation of Dance in jazz, ballet, and tap.
Her professional credits include choreographing and performing in SongWoman by Gerianne Rudd, stage productions at Jupiter’s Casino—Tempo Rouge (2006) and Zingara (2007)—and serving as Dance Captain at Sea World on the Gold Coast. She has also adjudicated for Wakakirri and collaborated with a variety of artists and choreographers across the commercial dance and theatre industry.
Heather has worked with the Australian Sports Commission to deliver dance programs in both mainstream and special education primary schools. Passionate about inspiring the next generation, she brings deep expertise and a genuine love for dance to every class.
