Lily Lejeune

Lily Lejeune was born in Western Australia and initially started her dance training at the Tammy Thorpe School of Dance. In 2007 Lily moved to Queensland and began seriously training at Hinterland Dance Academy, Kay Flynn Dancing Academy, Leanne Spence Dance World Academy, GCDDC and GC Dance.

In 2013, Lily successfully auditioned for a specialist dance program at Ormeau Woods High School. Through the program, Lily was exposed to numerous workshops and performances these included, Creative Generation, workshops with Sydney Dance Company, Expressions Dance Company, Phluxus 2 Dance Collective, Brent Street Performing Arts, Marco Panzic, Sarah Boulter and many more.

In 2015, following a successful audition, Lily undertook full-time study at WAAPA (the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.) During her time at WAAPA, she has worked with choreographers such as, Adelina Larson, Storm Helmore, Bernadette Lewis, Brooke Leeder and Natalie Allen. Currently, Lily is undertaking a Masters of Secondary Teaching specialising in dance and drama, in the hope to inspire more students to dance.
