Holiday time and crafty fun

Today our first holiday workshop kicks off, with Winter Wonderland! We are thrilled to welcome Little Acorn Kids Parties and Workshops back to our studios with some super fun craft activities.

It’s not too late to book in for the workshops this week—tomorrow we have Mermaid Magic (5-10 years), Wednesday is Teddy Bear’s Picnic (3-6 years) and Friday is Dancing Dreams (9-14 years) where we learn how to do stage makeup and hair, decorate a pointe shoe and more. See below to book.

Huge congratulations to all our dancers who undertook SFD exams in June. Congratulations also to our Junior Dance Company and Young Dancers Company who competed at Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge. We are so proud of all your efforts!

In Term 3, our class work focuses on our end-of-year concerts. Make sure you’ve read all the concert information—see links below.

While additional Covid restrictions are in place, we will institute “drop and go” for all afternoon/school age students.

In Preschool classes, only one parent can accompany your dancer inside. Masks are required and parents must use our Covid check in. Thank you for your cooperation!

Our Junior concert celebrates the work of our Prep, Level 1, Level 2 and Junior dancers! This year’s show is called SEASONS OF LOVE.

Our “big kids” concert celebrates the work of our dancers in Level 3/Sub-Intermediate and above. This year’s show is called LIFE IN COLOUR.

Our preschool dancers in Itty Bitty Ballet, Teeny Tiny Tots, Tiny Tots, Tiny Tumbling, Mini Musical Theatre and Mini Pop classes will perform in the concert THE MAGIC TOYSHOP!

MERMAID MAGIC

Splash down at our Mermaid Magic holiday workshop! Make your own mermaid and indulge in a range of under-the-sea craft activities. Finish the day with mermaid-inspired dance classes and a treasure hunt set to make your tail wave!

Designed for 5-10 year olds. Boys and girls welcome.

TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise!

Delight in our teddy bear’s picnic! Enjoy a bear-inspired dance class, and fur-ific craft activities. Make your own teddy bear and take them on a bear hunt before we enjoy a picnic tea party!
