AUDITIONS!
2020 Young Dancers Company and Junior Dancers Company

Auditions for our 2020 Young Dancers Company (YDC) and Junior Dancers Company (JDC) will be held on Friday 29 November.

Our Dancers Companies perform at competitions and events and enjoy fantastic opportunities to further engage in dance training.

The Companies are designed for students who have shown dedication, improvement and hard work, as well as having the skill set to take part in high-intensity performance situations. We hope to see some new faces in 2020!

CONCERT TICKETS

Tickets for our end-of-year concerts will go on sale Monday 28 October at 9am!

You’ll find the booking links below for all three concerts below (you’ll find information here, but you can’t book yet).

CONCERT LEOTARDS

Do you need a studio leotard for the concert? The following classes will require our mulberry pink studio leotard for the concert:

Prep Ballet (Tues, Wed, Sat)
Prep Jazz/Tap (Wed and Sat)
Ballet Level 1
Ballet Level 3
Ballet Level 4
Ballet Level 5 (Sat)
Ballet Level 6 (Sat)
Jazz Level 1/2
Tap Level 1/2
Tap Level 3
Tap Level 4

The leotard is stocked at Stretch Out (Wynnum and Coorparoo) and Sue’s Shop (Carina), or you may find the right size in good condition in the second hand dancewear box. If your dancer has outgrown their leotard, you’re welcome to place it in our second hand dancewear box for resale too.

IF YOU LIKE IT, THEN…
you need to put your name on it!

As we move into the busy concert season, your dancer will be carrying dance wear, shoes and costumes to and from the studio. Make sure you name all your dance wear and shoes to ensure they come back to you.

Always put your dancer’s name on the inside of their shoes (not on the outside or the sole).

Adding an “R” and an “L” for right and left shoes can be helpful for little dancers too. Not only does it speed up their dressing time, but ballet shoes are actually all made alike –they don’t have a ‘left’ and ‘right’ until they have moulded to their owner’s feet!
